Group 1: After study inclusion, samples will be taken from patients newly admitted to the intensive care unit and newly intubated at five time points over the course of 14 days. Oral and rectal swabs

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Consent given by patient/caregiver (possibility of deferred consent in patients unable to give informed consent at the time of inclusion). Maximum duration since intubation 4 days. Duration until potential discharge from intensive care unit/primary extubation and/or start of weaning >48h
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Previous participation in the study. Ethical inadmissibility of blood sampling.
