| There are no endpoints in the conventional sense. The aim of the study is to describe and estimate various aspects of long-term survival after cancer, focusing on (1) overall prevalence, (2) survival and cure, and (3) secondary tumours. Cancer diagnoses (both for primary and secondary cancers) must be reported to the relevant cancer registry by law, including the date of diagnosis. Deaths, including the date of death, are regularly recorded in the cancer registries by cross-referencing with the population registers and are therefore included in the data used. | — |
