Inclusion criteria: Voluntary and informed participation; sufficient German language proficiency; self-reported moderate body dissatisfaction

| Primary outcome: Functionality appreciation [FAS]. At four measurement points (pre-intervention, post-intervention, 2-week, and 1-month follow-up), both in the intervention group and the control group, the following measurement instruments (online survey) will be administered: Body image: FAS (Functionality Appreciation Scale; German version: Riechers & Warschburger, 2025); BAS-2 (Body Appreciation Scale-2; German version: Behrend & Warschburger, 2022; Warschburger & Behrend, 2023); CDRS/Body silhouettes (measuring body dissatisfaction; Thompson & Gray, 1995); WBIS-M (Weight Stigma Internalization Scale; German version: Hilbert, 2021); L-SOQ (Likert Self-Objectification Questionnaire; Wollast et al., 2021) - Eating behavior: IES-3 (Intuitive Eating Scale-3; Tylka et al., 2024); EDE-Q8 (measuring maladaptive eating behavior; German version: Kliem et al., 2015) - Well-being: PMHS (Positive Mental Health Scale; German version: Lukat et al., 2016); GQ-5G (Gratitude Questionnaire; German version: Hudecek et al., 2021); SISE (Single-item Self-Esteem; German version: Brailovskaia & Margraf, 2020) - Media usage: Usage of social media (frequency and duration; self-constructed items); SATAQ-4R (media pressures subscale; Schaefer et al., 2017) - Additional variables: BIDR-D (impression management; German version: Winkler et al., 2006) – Sociodemographic and anthropometric variables: age, gender, height and weight (calculation of weight status/BMI), subjective weight status, education level, subjective social status (MacArthur Scale; German version: Eutener et al., 2015). | — |
