Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients: (1) Patients with known bronchial asthma, (2) 18 years or older (3) physician-prescribed inhaler, (4) Lung function sufficient for DPI (Dry Powder Inhaler) (5) Sufficient German language skills (6) Use of smart devices (tablet/mobile phone) more than times/week Practice Staff: (1) Physician is certified as a specialist or physician in training for general medicine, general practitioner (GP) specialized in internal medicine, or general practitioner (2) Practice treats patients with bronchial asthma (3) Practice has at least one Medical Assistant (MFA) (4) Practice uses calibrated spirometry
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients (1) Emergency consultation in the practice (i.e., unscheduled or urgent visit to the practice) (2) Severe comorbidity leading to chronic dyspnea (3) Oxygen dependence or end-stage pulmonary disease (4) In palliative care or resident of a nursing home (5) Pregnancy/Lactation (or: Pregnancy/Breastfeeding) Practice Staff (1) Practice is specialized in pulmonology (or: Practice is specialized in respiratory medicine) (2) Practice does not have internet access.
