18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: at least 6 months in the UPT program At least one tooth with ST>= 4 mm in each quadrant No systemic contraindications or serious illnesses

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and breastfeeding women Severe systemic diseases (e.g., uncontrolled diabetes, asthma, endocarditis prophylaxis necessary) Severe dry mouth or other oral diseases Previous periodontal surgery or previous use of aPDT Lack of cooperation Medications that could interfere with the success of therapy (antibiotics, immunomodulators)
