Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Migraine group: • Self-reported regular cycle (approx. 26–34 days) • Medical diagnosis of purely menstrual or menstrual-associated migraine, with or without aura, diagnosed according to ICHD-3 (International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3rd edition, https://ichd-3.org/de) • Sufficient knowledge of German to answer the questionnaires • Written consent to participate in the study and data collection (via scan) • Non-fulfilment of one or more exclusion criteria Control group: • Self-reported regular cycle (approx. 26-34 days) • Sufficient knowledge of German to answer the questionnaires • Written consent to participate in the study and data collection (via scan) • Failure to meet one or more exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Migraine group: • Headache disorders other than migraine, with the exception of tension headaches on fewer than 2 days within the last month prior to screening • Special migraine therapy • Use of hormone preparations within the last two months prior to screening • Gynaecological, psychiatric or neurological conditions that are being treated medically • Pregnancy or breastfeeding Control group: • Migraine or other headache disorders, with the exception of tension headaches, on fewer than 2 days within the last month prior to screening • Use of hormone preparations within the last two months prior to screening • Gynaecological, psychiatric or neurological conditions that are being treated medically • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
