Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants must be golfers aged 50 years or older with medically confirmed chronic back pain (persisting for at least three months), a regular golfing activity for at least one year, and possession of a valid golf proficiency certificate (Platzreife).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals will be excluded if they do not provide written informed consent, present with impaired liver or kidney function, have an acute disc prolapse or manifest osteoporosis, suffer from severe physical or psychiatric disorders, or are currently taking pain medication. Additional exclusion criteria include acute infections and known hypersensitivity to any of the administered substances (CBD or placebo).

| Primary Outcome: Change in pain intensity, functional impairment, and golf-specific performance variables after administration of cannabidiol (CBD) compared to placebo in recreational golfers with chronic lower back pain. Assessment Time Points: T0 = Screening / pre-assessment (eligibility check, informed consent, baseline demographics), T1 = Baseline before the first intervention phase (CBD or placebo, randomized), T2 = After 7 days of the first intervention phase, T3 = Baseline before the second intervention phase (cross-over), T4 = After 7 days of the second intervention phase. A 4-week wash-out period is implemented between T2 and T3.
