Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients requiring extraction of one or more premolars or molars Patients with or without gingivitis or periodontitis stage I, II, or III grade A or B
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Tumor diseases Patients with diabetes mellitus Patients requiring front teeth extraction Patients requiring (partially) impacted wisdom teeth extraction Smokers (=5 cigarettes/day), pipe smokers Regular drug use Long-term immunosuppressive medication Long-term anticoagulant medication Need for antibiotic prophylaxis Pregnancy Antibiotic therapy within the last 3 months Allergies to antiseptics, disinfectants, or antibiotics (and/or to any of the components of the rinsing solution) Therapy with bisphosphonates or antibodies to modulate bone metabolism
