Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Therapists: ? Completed vocational training and/or degree in speech therapy, clinical linguistics or comparable qualification ? Work in an outpatient setting Patients: ? Presence of aphasia caused by a stroke ? Legal age ? At least moderate language comprehension (minimum T-score of 44 in the language comprehension subtest of the Aachen Aphasia Test; Huber et al., 1983) ? Sufficient visual and hearing function (sufficiently supported by glasses or hearing aids, if necessary) ? For the test-retest reliability subgroup (n = 30): chronic phase of aphasia (> 6 months); otherwise, inclusion of individuals in all phases For therapists and patients together: ? Currently and for at least two therapy sessions in speech therapy treatment

Exclusion criteria: People who do not meet the inclusion criteria will be excluded.

| Therapeutic alliance between patients with aphasia and therapists, determined once and with a subgroup after a maximum of four weeks for retesting, using the two questionnaires A-STAM (Aphasia and Stroke Therapeutic Alliance Measure) and WAI-V (Working Alliance Inventory – Simplified). The internal consistency, test-retest reliability and convergent validity of the A-STAM and WAI-V measurement instruments are examined on a confirmatory basis. | — |
