| Subjectively assessed outcomes: - Physical activity (European Health Interview Survey - Physical Activity Questionnaire, EHIS-PAQ) - General health status (based on German Health Update, GEDA) - Depression & Anxiety (Patient Health Questionnaire, PHQ-4) - Loneliness (UCLA Three-Item Loneliness Scale, UCLA-3) - Social support (Oslo Social Support Scale, OSS-3) - Perceived stress (Perceived Stress Scale, PSS-10) - Quality of life (EUROHIS-QOL 8-item index) - Connection with nature (Connection with Nature Scale, CN-12) Objectively assessed outcomes: - Stress (cortisol/cortison concentration in hair, asssessed using mass spectrometry LC-MS/MS) - Sedentary behavior (assessed using accelerometers, ActiGraph wGT3X-BT) - Sleep quality (assessed using accelerometers, ActiGraph wGT3X-BT) - Air pollution (nitrogen dioxide, particulate matter, and ozone) via stationary sensors - Temperature and humidity via stationary sensors - Changes in traffic flows using anonymized traffic data (floating car data) Measurement intervals for primary & secondary outcomes: 3 measurements: - Baseline: prior to implementation of Kiezblock measures in intervention neighborhoods - Follow-up 1: 6 months after implementation of Kiezblock measures in intervention neighborhoods - Follow-up 2: 18 months after implementation of Kiezblock measures in intervention neighborhoods Exception: objectively assessed stress (in total, 4 measurements between Baseline and Follow-up 2) | — |
