Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The quantitative pre-post evaluation is expected to show an improvement in social participation and psychosocial functioning (primary outcomes) on the part of the participants compared to the control groups without the BiSi program.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
An evaluation of further psychosocial and health-related outcome parameters (e.g. quality of life, utilization of treatments and support services, psychopathological symptoms, depressiveness, etc.) is planned. In addition, possible predictors (from the various baseline and course variables) for favorable and negative courses or different participant profiles are to be identified as part of the scientific analyses after the two-year program period. In the qualitative research component, after one year of program operation (mid-study phase), feedback and experiences will be obtained from a sample of employment site providers and study participants via guided, semi-structured individual interviews or focus groups on the following aspects: project expectations and fulfillment of these expectations, particulary relevant program aspects and need for change, use of support from professional program support and need for further support, and changes in usual operating routines (providers) or daily routines (participants) since the start of the project.
