Group 1: Parents of children with autism spectrum disorder fill out questionnaires about the eating behaviors of their child one time. There are five Questionnaires:

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Parents have sufficient German language skills to understand and complete the questionnaires. Group 1: Children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Group 2: Children with internalizing or externalizing psychiatric disorders Group 3: Control group without any psychiatric diagnoses
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The child or adolescent must not currently be receiving outpatient, day-patient, or inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric treatment due to an eating disorder such as Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa, nor have received such a diagnosis in the past. Furthermore, children or adolescents meeting the inclusion criteria must not be diagnosed with any of the following psychiatric disorders according to ICD-10: F0: Organic mental disorders F1: Mental and behavioral disorders due to psychoactive substance use F2: Schizophrenia, schizotypal, and delusional disorders F30: Manic episode F31: Bipolar affective disorder F34.0: Cyclothymia F42: Obsessive-compulsive disorder F43: Reaction to severe stress and adjustment disorders F44: Dissociative disorders F45: Somatoform disorders F48: Other neurotic disorders F6: Personality and behavioral disorders

| Assessment of Eating Behavior in Children and Adolescents Using Two Newly Translated Questionnaires from English to German: 1. Aut-Eat Questionnaire (AEQ): A parent questionnaire designed to assess specific eating behavior characteristics in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 2. PARDI-AR-Q: Parent 4+: A parent/caregiver questionnaire for the screening and prediction of Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) in children and adolescents. The following questionnaires in German are already commonly used in child and adolescent psychiatry: 3. SRS-16 (Social Responsiveness Scale – Short Version): A parent-report questionnaire used to assess social, communicative, and rigid behaviors in children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 years. 4. RBS-R (Repetitive Behavior Scale – Revised): A rating scale used to evaluate stereotyped, self-injurious, compulsive, and ritualistic behaviors in children. 5. CBCL 4–18 (Child Behavior Checklist): A checklist used to assess behavioral and emotional problems, somatic complaints, and social competencies over the past six months in children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 years. | — |
