Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria – Patients: Patients of the Institute Outpatient Clinic in Mettmann, Department of General Psychiatry II, aged 18 years or older Inclusion Criteria – Medical Personnel: Physicians, nursing staff, medical assistants, psychologists, and psychotherapists, employed in one of the institute outpatient clinics of LVR Langenfeld and reachable via email.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria – Patients: Intellectual disability Language barrier Lack of legal capacity Acute inability to self-regulate (e.g., due to substance intoxication or acute psychosis)

| Based on the results of the needs assessment, a subsequent project will develop and implement targeted measures to improve the care of psychiatric patients with experiences of interpersonal violence. These measures will include: - Development, standardization, and implementation of guidelines or standard operating procedures (SOPs) where such structures are not yet established within participating institutions. - Design and delivery of specific training programs for medical and therapeutic personnel, including both clinical and non-clinical staff. Existing structures (e.g., iGOBSIS) will be integrated, and additional modules tailored for non-medical professionals will be developed. - Creation and establishment of structured follow-up services to ensure qualified post-care for affected patients within psychiatric care settings. | — |
