Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria healthy subjects: - women: premenopausal, cyclus day1-10 Inclusion criteria Cushing's disease patients: - pituitary Cushing's syndrome - successful pituitary surgery - remission of the postoperative adrenal insufficiency

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria healthy subjects: - pituitary disease - glucocorticoid treatment - Alcohol abusus - allergy vs. Synacthen - Asthma bronchiale - depression - impairment of liver or kidney function - drugs which have influence on glucocorticoid production - hormonal drugs - pregnancy, breast feeding, PCOS Exculsion criteria Cushing's disease patients: - adrenal insufficiency - glucocorticoid treatment - Alcohol abusus - allergy vs. Synacthen - Asthma bronchiale - depression - impairment of liver or kidney function - hormonal drugs - pregnancy, breast feeding, PCOS
