Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - in outpatient psychotherapy (cognitive-behavioral therapy) at the University Outpatient Clinic for Psychological Psychotherapy, Department of Clinical Psychology, ZI Mannheim - diagnosis of a substance use disorder according to ICD-10 (F10–F19; excluding F17) as well as an additional psychiatric comorbidity - Treatment data are available for the period between July 1, 2023 and August 15, 2025.

Primary

Measure	Time frame
The primary endpoint of the retrospective analysis is the change in general psychological distress and depressive symptoms over the course of outpatient cognitive-behavioral therapy in patients with substance use disorders and psychiatric comorbidities.	—

Measure	Time frame
Secondary endpoints include regularly completed versus prematurely terminated therapies, as well as changes in frequency of substance use or relapse.	—
