Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Must have a smartphone or tablet to download the MuMi-App. Must understand one of the following languages: German, English, Arabic, Turkish, or Russian.

Exclusion criteria: Underage, no smartphone or tablet, does not understand any of the following languages: German, English, Arabic, Turkish, or Russian

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outome is the oral health literacy of the study participants. At two assessment points (baseline t0 and 6 months later follow-up t1), the oral health literacy and oral hygiene behavior of the participants were assessed using a questionnaire (the Oral Health Literacy Profile).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome is the oral health. At the same two assessment points (baseline t0 and follow-up t1 six months later), oral health was determined by the cooperating dental practices using clinical parameters (DMFT (decayed, missing, filled teeth), Approximal Plaque Index (API), Sulcus Bleeding Index (SBI)).
