Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Indication for a crystalloid fluid bolus as fluid challenge

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - No informed consent can be obtained - Impossibility of measurements (e.g. hand prothesis) - Age <18 years

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective is to explore, if a fluid challenge effects microcirculatory perfusion which can be evaluated by hyperspectral imaging.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
A secondary objective is to explore, whether the effectiveness of a fluid challenge can be anticipated based on one the microcirculatory perfusion before a potential fluid challenge.
