Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: People with dementia: - Medically diagnosed dementia (all types of dementia) - Inclusion of all stages of dementia up to the loss of decision-making capacity (then through consent of relatives/legal representatives) - Living at home or in a residential facility (nursing home, retirement home) - Willingness to participate in citizen labs ("Blue Boxes") and/or living labs - Possibility to participate with the support of relatives, caregivers, or professionals Other participants: - Relatives of people with dementia (informal caregivers) - Formal caregivers and support staff from dementia care institutions - Professionals/multipliers (e.g., counselors, visiting services) - Manufacturers of assistive technologies
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Lack of consent capacity without approval from the legal representative/relatives - Lack of willingness or refusal by the person concerned or their relatives - Acute medical crises that make participation impossible - Severe sensory impairments (e.g., blindness, deafness) that exclude the use of certain technologies, unless suitable adaptations are possible
