Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Inpatient treatment in the clinic for psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy - Inclusion criterion for interview sub-study: diagnosis F50.0 or F50.1

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Persons with insufficient knowledge of German or a severe psychiatric or somatic comorbidity that significantly hampers study participation as assessed by the study coordinator

MeasureTime frame
- Quantitative substudy: Patients' treatment expectations at the start of inpatient treatment and during the course of treatment, measured using the GEEE questionnaire - Qualitative substudy: The study endpoints are the topics mentioned by patients in the interviews

- Relationship between previous experiences (assessed using the GEEE's "prior treatment experiences" subscale) and treatment expectations upon admission - Exploration of other factors influencing quantitatively assessed treatment expectations and their dynamic - Comparison of qualitative and quantitative results
