Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed familial hypercholesterolemia or lipid metabolism disorder; Current and ongoing treatment with statins; Regular appointments at our lipid clinic; Presence of a parent or legal guardian who participates in the separate interview; Written declaration of consent (or consent of legal representatives in the case of minors)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Missing or incomplete written consent from minors or their legal representatives and parents; Children and adolescents who are not currently receiving statin therapy, as adherence perception is assessed in the context of ongoing therapy; Acute or serious illnesses (e.g., significant cognitive impairments or psychiatric disorders) that hinder reliable participation in the study and understanding of the questionnaires; Language barriers that prevent adequate responses to the standardized questionnaires and qualitative interviews; Parents who are not involved as primary caregivers in the daily therapy process
