Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for group BeG1: - Age 60 or older - Current volunteering activities Inclusion criteria for group BeG2: - Age 60 or older - Former volunteering activities Inclusion criteria for group BeG3: - Age 18 or older - Existing reduced earning capacity due to chronic illness Inclusion criteria for group FachG: - Professional activity as a general practitioner, social worker, or in local associations and civil society structures General inclusion criteria (apply to all four groups): - Sufficient language skills - Interest in the research question - Willingness to participate in the study and consent to audio recording of the discussions

MeasureTime frame
The aim of the study is to shed light on the role of social participation and volunteering as forms of generativity and activity in old age and its assumed significance for one's own health and well-being. The empirical findings will be used to create a practical handbook for social participation and health promotion through social prescribing, which can be used by healthcare providers to identify suitable patients and potential obstacles.
