Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Mothers and fathers of female adolescents aged between 12 and 17. AN group: Daughter in (partial) inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric treatment due to a diagnosis of anorexia nervosa (according to ICD-10: F50.0 or F50.1). GES group: Daughter physically and mentally healthy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Parents' insufficient knowledge of German, which makes it impossible for them to answer the questionnaires.

| Burden and impact of anorexia nervosa on parents of adolescents with Anorexia nervosa: This is operationalized using the total score of the "Eating Disorder Symptom Impact Scale" (EDSIS) questionnaire, which is completed three times by mothers and fathers in the AN group (upon admission of the child to (partial) inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric treatment; discharge; 2-month follow-up after discharge). The total score of the mothers and fathers in the GES group, who complete the EDSIS once, is used as a comparison point. | — |
