Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Thiele-fixed corpses of adult body donors: all participants consented during their lifetime to use in the anatomical institute or for scientific studies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), severe lung or chest injuries, pneumothorax, abnormal airways, tracheostoma, history of severe aspiration

MeasureTime frame
The actual applied mean tidal volume (expiratory tidal volume) is measured during the entire 16-minute ventilation period (4x4 minutes) under machine cardiac compression (110/min). The tidal volumes are measured and recorded by the ventilator.
