Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Active police officers of the police force of Rhineland-Palatinate who participate in training for life-threatening operations are included in the shift work and special operations command.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The actively participating members of the shift work service and the special deployment command are a preselected group that has been deemed fit for duty by a police physician. Therefore, potential exclusion criteria, such as a pronounced post-traumatic stress disorder within the recruitment group, are not to be expected. Furthermore, participants taking medication such as corticosteroids or beta-blockers are excluded from the stress assessment.
