Group 1: Intervention group: Children aged 4 to 8 complete the digital training program Zirkus Empathico (www.zirkus-empathico.de) independently at home over a period of three weeks. Approximately 60
a training manual is available.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Cognitive and/or linguistic development level (German) of the child of at least 4 years (according to the parents) 2. Parent participating in the study with a knowledge of German of at least B2 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages 3. Availability of an internet-enabled device and internet connection in the family
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Severely impaired and uncorrected vision or hearing in the child
