Group 1: Patients who underwent sandwich ACI at the University Medical Centre Freiburg between 2014 and 2023.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sandwich ACI performed in the knee joint; available MRI of the operated knee obtained 9–15 months (270–460 days) postoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Revision surgery within the first postoperative year
