Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Epilepsy as defined by the ILAE (International League Against Epilepsy) with age at initial diagnosis of epilepsy < 18 years and with more than one previous contact with a neuropediatrician, neuropediatric specialist consultation, or connection to a SPZ Understanding and consent to the information provided or information provided to the legal guardian

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No confirmed diagnosis of epilepsy Age = 22 years

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Differences in concerns regarding the transition process between patients and their parents within the Frankfurt transition concept and patients referred from outside without a structured transition concept, as well as between mentally disabled and non-disabled patients.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Differences in concerns between parents and transition patients; differences in the above points between patients within the Frankfurt transition concept and patients referred from outside without a structured transition concept, readiness for the transition process, patient knowledge about epilepsy, quality of life of adolescents with epilepsy, and psychological comorbidities.
