Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: For this study, female and male patients over the age of 60 who were treated at the wound clinic of the AMEOS Hospital in Einsiedeln between May 1 and July 31, 2026, due to a chronic wound healing disorder were surveyed. Patients who provided information about their own eating habits and followed the questions in the nutrition protocol, or for whom reliable statements from a caregiver could be obtained, were included. A written signed consent form was required to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with acute wounds were not included in the study. Patients with cognitive impairments who were unable to independently consent to the informed consent form were also excluded.
