Inclusion criteria: Patients of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at TU Dresden Sufficient knowledge of the German language Informed consent

Exclusion criteria: The potential participant is not a patient at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at TU Dresden. Insufficient knowledge of the German language

The questionnaires "Intimate Partner Violence Stigma Scale (IPVSS, Crowe et al. 2021) and Trauma-Related Shame Inventory - Short Form (TRSI-SF, Grau et al., 2022).	—

What factors influence the extent of stigmatization experienced by victims of intimate partner violence? What influence do the stigmatization experienced by victims and associated accompanying symptoms (e.g., trauma-related shame or guilt) have on the psychological distress (e.g., severity of trauma symptoms) of victims of intimate partner violence? What is the relationship between experienced violence and current suicidal experiences and behavior? How does the experience of stigmatization among those affected influence the relationship between experienced violence and current suicidal experiences and behavior?	—
