| The objective of this study is to identify acute metabolic changes in blood plasma following a standardized sprint intervention in professional youth athletes from a first division football club in Germany. For this purpose, capillary blood samples are collected immediately before the intervention (T1) and directly after the sprint session (T2) using a microneedle-based device (Tasso+, Tasso Inc., Seattle, USA). Plasma is then isolated and analyzed using metabolomics methods. The data collection dates are tentatively scheduled for September 9, 2025, October 28, 2025, and November 11, 2025. | — |
