Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals: Informed consent; enrollment in the 6th or 7th grade. Schools: Located in one of the four federal states (Rhineland-Palatinate, Schleswig-Holstein, Saxony-Anhalt, Bavaria); school with a secondary level; participation of at least one class each from the 6th and 7th grades; mixed-gender classes; informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals: No informed consent. Schools: Special needs school; no secondary level.

Frequency of non-suicidal self-injurious behavior (adapted version of the Self-Injurious Behavior Questionnaire [FSVV]), Suicidality (Paykel Scale [PSS]), Emotion regulation (Affective Style Questionnaire – Youth [ASQ-Y]), General psychopathology (Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire [SDQ]), Health-related quality of life (KIDSCREEN-10), Depressive symptoms (Patient Health Questionnaire – Depression Module [PHQ-2]), Substance use (based on WHO-ASSIST V3.0)
