Interventions

Group 1: n = 25 patients diagnosed with complex post-traumatic stress disorder 8 weeks inpatient psychotherapy (focus on trauma) Group 2: n = 25 healthy control subjects no intervention

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Intervention group: cPTSD diagnosis, inpatient treatment at "Mitscherlich" ward (Heidelberg University Hospital, Department of General Internal Medicine and Psychosomatics), good german language skills. Control group: good german language skills, no mental disorder at the time of assessment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Intervention group: severe psychiatric comorbidities, history of severe neurological disorders or traumatic brain injury Control group: history of severe neurological disorders or traumatic brain injury
