Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Patients suffering from plaque psoriasis with an indication for systemic treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Pregnant or breast-feeding women or lack of willingness to use effective contraception • Insufficient communication skills in the German language, dementia or functional analphabetism • Lack of capacity or will to consent to the study • Existing contraindication to anti-psoriatic systemic treatment

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Affect / depressive symptomatology after 16 and 28 weeks of treatment, assessed using the MADRS interview and BDI-II and STADI questionnaires

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
• Patients' body image after 16 and 28 weeks of treatment assessed using FKB-20 and CBIS questionnaires, diagnostic interview and a subjective measure of affected body surface
