Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increased transcultural skills between T0 (baseline) and T1 (after six weeks). To assess the long-term effects of the training, follow-up surveys will be conducted at T2 (6 months) and T3 (12 months). Self-reported transcultural competence is assessed using the Multicultural Counseling Inventory (Sodowsky et al., 1994) and the OnTracc questionnaire (Atzor et al., 2022). As an indirect assessment a behavioral test is used to assess the transcultural competence of psychotherapists. Participants respond to short video clips that simulate typical transcultural psychotherapy situations.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in the level of knowledge is recorded by means of a learning success check after the intervention (T1). Improvement in psychotherapeutic care between T0 (baseline), T1 (6 weeks after baseline), T2 (6 months after baseline), and T3 (12 months after baseline). Information about psychotherapeutic care is gathered through estimates (e.g., the number of people with a history of moving during treatment).
