Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Included in the analysis are individuals who participated in both waves of the SOEP. Eligibility for inclusion required that individuals were at least 65 years old at the time of the first survey.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals with missing data on the dependent variable (mental well-being) or the independent variable (risk of poverty in old age yes/no) at one or both time points are excluded from the analysis.
