Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aphonia or severe dysphonia, e.g., following total or partial laryngectomy (but not limited to these), and/or dysarthria; Use of a voice prosthesis or other form of substitute voice does not preclude inclusion; Written consent to participate in the examination; German language proficiency: level C1 or higher

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Current suspicion of tumor recurrence or medical complications; Hearing impairments affecting speech production; Acute psychiatric illness (e.g., major depression) or concerns regarding the ability to give informed consent, including dementia; Acute or chronic dermatological conditions in the orofacial region that are not a result of tumor treatment; Acute deterioration in general health status (performance status) due to a potentially progressive tumor disease; Limited reading ability due to illiteracy or a native language other than German Pronounced, non-modifiable facial hair (e.g., full sideburns); Concurrent participation in another study
