Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - good health - Previous alcohol consumption in comparable quantities without problems - Age = 20 years - proficient in written and spoken German - Ability to consent - abstinence from alcohol for at least 2 days before the start of the trial
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Severe cardiovascular or respiratory diseases (requiring treatment) - Liver or kidney disease - severe mental illnesses (requiring treatment) and/or - severe neurological diseases - Severe underlying illnesses (e.g. tumour diseases) - Addiction problems (AUDIT score =15) - Alcohol intolerance (e.g. flush syndrome after alcohol intake) - Diabetes mellitus - Poor state of health - Pregnancy and breastfeeding (pregnancy test for women < 50 years) - Medication intake with interaction with ethanol degradation - Persons unable to give consent - Poor vein conditions
