Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inpatient treatment in geriatric rehabilitation Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS) = 6 Sufficient cognitive abilities to participate in the art therapy intervention, independently complete questionnaires, and manage basic self-care during the sessions (MMSE = 19) Adequate hearing and vision to follow verbal and visual instructions Willingness to fully complete all scheduled assessments and questionnaires Sufficient German language skills (minimum level B1) to participate in the intervention and data collection Written informed consent for participation in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age under 65 years No current inpatient treatment Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS) = 7 Moderate to severe cognitive impairment (MMSE = 18) Uncompensated severe hearing loss (> 69 dB) or communication barriers that make interaction impossible without sign language Lack of willingness to fully complete the scheduled assessments and questionnaires Insufficient German language proficiency (below level B1) required for participation in the intervention and assessments Missing written informed consent Presence of infectious diseases that exclude participation, including suspected cases (e.g., COVID-19) until an infectious status can be ruled out
