Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Diagnosis of a soft tissue sarcoma (abdominal, retroperitoneal, thoracic, or extremity) - Tumor size > cT1 - Locally resectable tumor (isolated or oligometastatic) - Written informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Emergency procedures - Time-critical indications that do not allow adequate preoperative planning (<48 hours until surgery) - Re-resections following R1/R2 resections - Purely diagnostic procedures (e.g., histological confirmation/incisional biopsies) - Change of the designated surgeon shortly before the operation
