Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint of the study is the ultrasound visibility of the inserted cannula (needle tip and needle shaft), determined by software-derived grayscale intensity values at predefined reference points.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary endpoint is the agreement between the software-derived grayscale intensity values and the standardized visual ratings of ultrasound visibility provided by physicians.
