Group 1: Patients with confirmed Wilson's disease who were treated at the study center in the period 2010-2025. Group 2: Patients with other hepatological diseases who were treated at the study center

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of any age with a confirmed diagnosis of Wilson's disease (Leipzig Score >4 points). Patients of any age in whom the presence of Wilson's disease was suspected but not confirmed (Leipzig Score <4 points). Patients of any age with other hepatological diseases in an appropriate number (usually 2:1 to the Wilson's disease group in individual questions) as a comparison group.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Retrospective comparison of the results of laboratory, histologic, radiologic and genetic diagnostics between Wilson's disease patients and patients with other hepatologic diseases.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Identification of independent risk factors for a severe course (neurological manifestation, death, liver transplantation, hepatic decompensation). Identification of new biochemical markers for personalized therapy management.
