Interventions

Group 1: Cluster-randomised offer of ice lollies in postanaesthesia care after non-cardiac surgery. Group 2: Standard of care (without ice lollies)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Postanaesthesia care in study PACU

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: no oral food intake possible or allowed; postoperative care on intermediate care unit or ICU
