Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: stable/unstable hallux valgus, patient of the foot surgery of St. Josef Hospital Rheingau
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: bad quality of the images (mri or x-ray), previous foot surgery, diabetes mellitus, neuromuscular diseases, neuroinflammatory arthritis

| stable and unstable hallux valgus It will be investigated, whether there are differences in x-rays or mris between persons with stable and unstable hallux valgus. In the x-rays some angles (HV-angle, intermetatarsal-angle, meary-angle) and the length of the first metatarsal bone (also compared to the second one) will be examined. In the mris the volumes and some cross sectional areas of abductor hallucis muscle and flexor hallucis brevis muscle will be measured. | — |
