Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient Interviews: Adult, consent-capable patients who were hospitalized at the Heidelberg University Hospital between January 2014 and December 2024 for the treatment of Stanford Type B aortic dissection. Questionnaire Survey for staff at Rehabilitation Centers: Rehabilitation centers currently accredited for the treatment of Stanford Type B aortic dissections.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients under the age of 18, those who are unable to provide informed consent, and individuals with insufficient proficiency in the German language will be excluded from the interviews. The exclusion criterion for participation in the interviews is the absence of informed consent. For the questionnaire-based survey in the second phase of the study, the only exclusion criterion is the lack of consent from the rehabilitation center.
