Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: all patients who underwent isolated coronary artery bypass surgery and were treated in the interdisciplinary surgical intensive care unit (ISICU) of the University Medical Center Ulm in 2023
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age less than 18 years revision surgery

| The primary endpoint of the study is a descriptive comparison between the two groups: prolonged mechanical ventilation and non-prolonged mechanical ventilation. Another main objective of the retrospective analysis is to identify risk factors for prolonged mechanical ventilation after cardiac bypass surgery. Patients will be divided into two groups (Group I = ventilation < 24 hours, Group II = ventilation = 24 hours). Logistic regression will be used to identify risk factors for Group II. | — |
