Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged 18 and older will be included if they either have a musculoskeletal condition (e.g., osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, or rheumatoid arthritis), have already received a conventional or smart orthopedic implant, have sustained a surgically treated bone fracture, or are at least 60 years old regardless of any medical condition.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with impaired comprehension or those requiring full-time care support will be excluded.

The aim is to investigate the requirements and acceptance factors for intelligent implants in the medical care of patients with musculoskeletal diseases – both from the perspective of the affected individuals themselves and from the perspective of healthcare professionals involved in the care of this patient group in their daily clinical practice.
