Group 1: Patients with tumors in the head and neck area and surgical therapeutic approach, respectively resection of tumor, and, if indicated neck dissection and/or adjuvant radio(chemo) therapy

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Localization of the primary tumor: head and neck area - Surgical therapeutic procedure

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Primal therapy of the tumor in question not at the trial center

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Therapeutic success (tumor-free survival) depending on the therapy regimen up to 15 years after primary surgery (observation period 01/2010-04/2025)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- Tumor stage - Localization - Surgical procedure - Tumor regression - Recurrence-free survival - Mortality rate - Recurrence rate - occult metastases - Periods between interventions (e.g. RCT and resection) - Lymphedema - Aesthetic and functional impairment - Complicated scarring - socio-psychological consequences
