| The aim of the study is to record all cases of pediatric homicides in the autopsy material of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Freiburg from January 2000 to April 2025, accompanied by a retrospective descriptive analysis of epidemiological, circumstantial, and post-mortem data, in order to identify a potential medico-legal pattern of pediatric homicides. Data relating to victims, perpetrators, relationship context, and circumstantial and pathological-forensic characteristics of the homicide will be collected. Statistical analyses will be performed to explore potential relationships between the data collected. | — |
