| Hypothesis: Communication and reflection of sexual needs to support holistic healing and health of patients. Objective: Demonstrate the necessity of reflecting on sexual needs during the treatment of patients with ovarian cancer. This study aims to explore patients' wishes in order to subsequently understand at which points in the patient journey medical interventions should be thought of and in what form. Conversations on the topic of sexuality are already a component of the oncology guidelines for ovarian cancer. By incorporating the biopsychosocial model, various aspects that can lead to sexual health issues in the peri- and postoperative setting will be examined. | — |
