Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group with congenital heart disease: at least one heart surgery Control group: no known congenital heart defect

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - pronounced neurodevelopmental delay - syndrome (e.g., Trisomy 21) - exclusively catheter-based cardiac intervention - inpatient hospital stay within the last 3 months - siblings of patients with surgically treated CHD
